Tbf since they took full charge, we never do. Not unless it done from the opposite side of the deal. Think someone said Mooney used to leak a lot of stuff.

A very big concern. We’d be taking for granted that the first half season trends will continue. No guarantees in that. And there’s no guarantees they would if we went on a shopping spree. But surely you cover your arse? Obvious deficiencies in the keeping dept. And we’re short up front. If Piroe does have an ongoing ‘niggle’ it’s shades of Bamford summer of 21/22.
Not so concerned about a #10. We tend to create enough as we are. Don’t get me wrong, wouldn’t turn down Buendia (that rumbles on) but feel the other 2 positions are no brainers. It’s due diligence.

As a CF? Latte Lath springs to mind. The link to him going to the States is bizarre imo. Wasted going over there. Big mo run though. And apparently his agent’s a cunt. Willy Gnonto 18 months ago type of cunt. Or some big Slav/Scandinavian.

Got to be better value in Europe for a number 9 and a 10. We seem to be pinning are number 10 hope's on Bundia. Farke apparently wants him but surely a lower prem club would be his first choice, if he leaves Villa.

Said it at start of window, if we can’t get deal for him done sharpish, move on. Don’t want to be hanging on till end of window and miss out completely because we did. But I think we’ve been here before..

Doubt Buendia will happen. He won't come to sit on our bench and Farke isn't going to drop Aaronson after he's ran his bollocks off for him. He'll view it as depth we need there, rather than a fix.

As for a keeper, unlikely given Farke's recent comments.

Strikers, I guess it depends if Paddy goes (though how can he if he's injured?). Farke said in a recent presser Willy can play there if shit hits fan so doesn't seem to be much worry about it.

I think best case scenario is we pull a rabbit out of the hat from Europe. A young no.10 or striker perhaps. Surely we must have some on the radar.
