Dan has said these clauses do exists but wasn't sure when they expire. He guessed at the 14th which would give the club 2 weeks to get in who they want.
He talks some bollocks at times
He has confirmed that he knows the clauses definitely have expiry dates on.

You mean the release fee clauses?
Those and the loan clauses I think he was saying.

No ill will towards Adams evidently and he will be welcomed back to the group.

We'll see what happens from here. It's been one crazy summer.

He lied about it as well.

He was asked by a reporter directly during the week and he said it wasn't true that he had refused to play. Not doing himself any favours.

Well done to the club for standing firm with the petulant child. Either Everton pony up what we're asking for or he trains with the kids.

Right, let that little cunt rot for next few years. No games, no Italy call-ups. If a bid comes in that's acceptable send him on his way, if not then make sure the lad has completely fucked his career. He's not on huge wages and we didn't pay much for him. Make an example of him.

If hes refusing to play, can the club refuse to pay him? Fuck him anyway, I find him irritating at times and he's somewhat deluded as to how good he is. Was hoping Adams and him would be gone today.

Expected it from Summerville tbh not Willy. Bad advice from agent imo.

Dan from Square Ball;

'FWIW I asked Phil on a podcast over the summer if he’d heard anything about Gnonto being disruptive and he said not. I heard a couple of snippets that he’d been missing training after being dropped. The club was sending cars round so he had no excuse not to come. But he refused to answer the door and ignored calls, and would show up late. Could never properly stand it up, but this certainly adds weight to it. Would explain why he was left out so much.'
