Cheers chaps.

The online hate for Mes is reaching ridiculous proportions now. Sure, he’s not great. Would I have flogged him? Yes. According to Kinnear we turned down 10m for him. Sackable offence alone imo. But it’s now at the stage where every goal we concede he should have saved it. Some real fucking bellends out there.

Very rarely go on soc med now other than here and whatsapp. Assume it's cos of their second goal aye?Titman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 3:38 pm The online hate for Mes is reaching ridiculous proportions now. Anyway, battering the guy in the public domain isn't going to help. It's like booing players at games, serves no positive purpose.
Dunno what to make of that goal tbh. It's gone in off the post so couldn't have been more in the corner, plus the deflection fucked him from setting his feet.
He's bang avarage, hopefully he moves on in summer regardless, but til then a fan-induced confidence crisis for him will only have a negative effect on our chances.

I'd put all of the Swansea goals down to our centre backs.Titman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 3:38 pm The online hate for Mes is reaching ridiculous proportions now. Sure, he’s not great. I agree places like Waccoe can't leave him alone. Some of it just down to laughs a giggles.
At least in tge real world he gets cut some slack.

Think I’m the last remaining Leeds fan who really likes Meslier. He’s lost a fuck load of confidence but he’s an insane shot stopper at times. He’s dodgy on crosses I find but as an overall keeper I like him.
Could serve us for many many years to come if he can get some of that first season or two quality back.

Sooner have a keeper who's solid in all departments than one who's exceptional at some things and poor at others.
Probably is potential there but it's been years now since his impressive breakthrough.
If we do go up, first 3 priorities should be a new keeper, no.10 and striker.
Regarding strikers I think folk on here were right about Joseph and I was getting carried away with him. Hasn't looked quite ready really.
If we go up I'd be keeping a close eye on Liam Delap (if Ipswich are relegated), and Evan Ferguson at Brighton who isn't getting game time.
Dunno about no.10s but Aaronson is never prem level. Seen some chatter about McAtee but can't say I know much about him.
Anyway, I'm digressing.

i love Mez, will serve us well, people forget all the points he saves us every season, not at fault for any of those goals other night.Jay wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 6:16 am Think I’m the last remaining Leeds fan who really likes Meslier.
