The signing of Darlow cast doubt over whether Meslier would keep his place after a disappointing end to last season, but it seems the Frenchman will be the number one to kick-off the season. Farke said: “We need competition. Man management can be difficult but we need competition. We need it in a few other positions. It’s clear that Illan will start if he’s fit.”

Those comments come after Meslier spoke in glowing terms about Farke recently, suggesting an exit was unlikely.

Does make sense giving him a second go. If he regains form his value will return to previous levels, if he is shit then Darlow can come in.

Piroe and Hamer permanently, lad from Citeh and lad forest on loan according to phil hay. Will be a couple more out. Hopefully Gnonto and Summerville.
