In article here Rutters saying 2 of early clubs have had 300 k, doesn’t say if it’s each or if it came from him or his transfer. Eitherway, agents must be on a hell of a cut if we really paid that much for him.

What's his reputation like in France? For that money I'd expect him to be ripping it up for u21s. Most of his caps seem to have come at youth level.

Might not be a no.9 like but seems that's what we've brought him here for.

Roma got Tammy Abraham for same price. 2 prolific seasons in the champ for 2 different clubs and 15 goals in a season in the Prem for Chelsea.

The highlights I saw of him, couple of headers, but mostly seemed to be cutting in from the left? A French 9? That’d be like Giroud. We’ll see.

TBH i’ve never seen him mentioned before. As i said other day, he’s only from about 30 mins from me, place called Plescop. The bigger of his 2 local teams was vannes who are semi pro. I’d certainly not heard of him before so not sure what his rep was there. He played 4 times for Rennes without scoring and has only played twice for the French U21’s no goals again. Scored 11 in Germany. Big fee for potential. Looks like he may have something but still a lot of money for him.

For context, if we were to sell Gnonto this summer based on the amount Rutters value ‘grew’ over a similar period he’d be going for £198m+

Gracia effectively saying Rutter isn't a no.9, played there to help the side when we had no 9s fit, which contradicts what Rutter himself said when he arrived.
I think he's so raw still he hasn't found his niche. Seems we've loaned out Joffy to make way for another Joffy, spent £35m to do so, and go into the critical stage of the season without a fit striker.
