Yeah I wanna see Amps, Rothwell and Tanaka lining up together at some point. Be some midfield that. Tanaka certainy got the composure and eye for a pass to play in the 10.

Saying that, the headless chicken put in another good shift, as infuriating as he can be.

Schmidt looks an athlete. Strong and quick. Looks after the ball well too. I find it odd he hasn't got more game time, and has been brought on in advanced wide areas more than he has fullback.

I get the impression Farke isn't quite sure what his niche is. Also remember Farke inferring he he needs to do a tad more in training (can't remember when but was a recent press conference).

Can’t tell anything from his cameos. Looks decent going forward. Defensively? No idea.
Although certain sections have already decided he’s the ultimate full back and are fuming Wober & Byram get picked ahead of him.

Had a lot of injuries and just back after a hernia operation. Hopefully he gets time over the next few weeks.
