May become distressed sellers as its likely his contract will be high with no relegation clauses. His value will also drop after a poor season. Can they afford to keep him on his wage in the hope he has a strong season? If he flops in championship then they’re fucked. Will he want to play in the championship? Loads of potential reasons for me.
