Yup. Also according to Romano, West Ham have submitted a bid for Summerville.

A lot of talk about Rak-Sakyi coming in from Palace if we lose a winger.

They enquired. That ExWhUEmployee says the deal is too expensive. At the moment.
Saints in for that Palace lad apparently.
Thing is, if we’re playing 3-4-3 you’ve got Aaronson, Summerville, Gnonto, James & Rutter vying for 2 spots. Can see both going and 1 winger coming in tbh.

Aye if we're sticking with 3-4-3 we don't need more than 4 vying for 2 attacking midfield spots, plus Joseph can play there if needs be. Intrigued to see if we carry on with this formation during preseason. Certainly got the wingbacks for it with Firpo and now Bogle.

Perhaps that's a primary reason for formation change, to compensate for losing 2 top wingers. A change of approach rather than trying to somehow replace both Willy and Cre with like-for-like similar quality, which would be very difficult.

Or maybe I'm looking into this way too far. Guess time will tell. Get a better idea if we stick with this formation or not throughout preseason/know where Gnonto and Summerville's futures lie.
