Farke just went into depth about this in his presser. About as comprehensive as it gets.
To cut a long story short, key point seems to be Piroe doesn’t press or run in behind well enough for Farke's style of play for Leeds.

I took it more that he's trying to get more of our our better players on the pitch at the same time.
Re: MDT Leeds v QPR
Think its both. Maybe he has had Piroe in the 10 to eventually accommodate Bamford, and have all 3 of them on the pitch (Rutter wide). He was pretty clear that Piroe isn't quick enough to do the things he wants from a no.9 in this system. Or at least others can do it better.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 12:56 pmI took it more that he's trying to get more of our our better players on the pitch at the same time.
Was great of him to be so open but his hopes to nip this line of questioning in the bud ain't happening if goals dry up.

I have confidence in the bloke to do what's needed.Rick wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 1:07 pmThink its both. He has different systems he can use as well which is good. Was Pukki quick as an aside?

Aye, created 6 clear cut chances today and Piroe looked much more involved so very encouraging.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 4:44 pmI have confidence in the bloke to do what's needed.Rick wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 1:07 pmThink its both. I think Pukki was pretty quick aye, over 10 yards. Scored a lot of goals beating off-side trap and was seldom caught.
