The joker Pete at Footy Insider is still chucking out stories on us hoping one will eventually land.

His latest is that clubs have been told £12m will get Hamer. Burnley have been turned away already.

That's the fee we could have had him for before them I think?

Maybe looking to recoup it all if that's what they paid. Not sure how much they did end up getting him for though.

Got to imagine Cooper out for a while
