Being a 49ers fan too I know a little about some involved. New chairman Marathe is seen as an absolute genius in NFL circles for his work doing contracts with the 49ers big players inside the salary cap in the NFL and his business work. Jed York owner of the 49ers was hated by majority for a while he was put in charge when his parents took over the Niners afer his super popular uncle had to give em up after legal trouble.
York took the wrong side in a dispute between the Niners most successful coach in decades and their general manager (Director of football) so thats familiar but to his credit he realised his mistake absolutely cleared house and brought in the best of the best and the Niners are now one of the best in the NFL and set up to be for a long time.

Of the 'big names' only Rodgers strikes me as the type that Leeds fans could get around. He comes across as confident but humble. The others I think would grind on people quickly if we didn't start well.
From the next teir, I'd still go with Corberon.
Be awesome to see some successful foreign guy from left field that we could call our own again, though

You'd love him.

I googled him last time you mentioned him. His CV is very unimpressive. How did you get on to him?Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:03 pmFarioli is your man for that.Skippy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:46 pm Of the 'big names' only Rodgers strikes me as the type that Leeds fans could get around. Through watching Sassuolo and he was working under De Zerbi there as well as other jobs he's done with him.Skippy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:14 pmI googled him last time you mentioned him. Instead of Googling his CV go and look up footage of his team's playing. It's very Bielsa like in phases.
This isn't footage but gives you a quick idea;

Without knowing anything about him and on your recommendation alone i’ll take him over any of the tepid options that have been banded about.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:53 pmThrough watching Sassuolo and he was working under De Zerbi there as well as other jobs he's done with him.

Sadly I don't think he's even a name in the frame.Sid wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 6:38 amWithout knowing anything about him and on your recommendation alone i’ll take him over any of the tepid options that have been banded about.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:53 pmThrough watching Sassuolo and he was working under De Zerbi there as well as other jobs he's done with him.

One of the tepid options is far more likely.

Seems to be a lot of chatter about Farke.
