Ok,so hypothetical talk. If the worst comes and we’re back in the championship..do we keep Farke? 5 seasons in that division and 3 promotions. We’d be daft to not let him have another go wouldn’t we?
And how many of this squad will say, this is on us, we want to sort it out? They’ll all have relegation clauses in terms of wage reductions. And all the new signings have price points in their contracts so we don’t lose money on them. I know there would be churn but hopefully nothing like we saw last time.

Much as i don’t rate Farke, i think you are correct.i just hate his shite style of football and think we could and should have come up first year. We lost some decent squad members in all that as well which set us back a hell of a lot. We would have been much stronger adding to a squad including Rutter, Jimmy and Archie.
Could be an argument to blame Farke for today’s situation especially with his white flag approach to too many games.
Hopefully we stay up, then what will be the call on him??

Good question given he has 12 months left on his deal.

Do you think his stock has risen? As in will he get a better job? I’m not sure he will, be back to championship i reckon.

If we stay up big decision for someone to make, would they trust him with more money in transfer market? Sure some big questions going to be asked about his treatment of some of those we recruited over last 12 months. ( not saying all his fault btw) but big of a mixed bag performance wise.

Put it like this, I don’t think another PL club would look at him. However, plenty of Championship clubs would be interested. Could quite easily rock up at Wolves or Burnley if we decide to try something new and make us look silly.
We spent many years going for ‘promotion’ experts, players who’d seen it & done it only to find that their better days were behind them or the warchest had gone missing. But Farke’s record in that division is second to none. We’d be foolish to part ways if that’s where we go. IMO.

Fully agree, for my own sanity though i would have to find something else to watch rather than his tepid shite football. Maybe take up knitting or the likes.

What ever happens I think he should be gone, more so if we stay up.
He put the correct team out yesterday but Sunderland line up was an abomination

Regarding interest from other clubs it depends how the season ends. If he gets 40 points but still gets relegated due to a freak season there will be Prem interest from newly promoted clubs if they have bad starts to the new season and sack their managers.

As for us sticking with him. Yes (if he keeps us up). If we get relegated it would for me depend on how the season ended, regarding whether I'd want him to stay. Really cant be arsed with a shit final 8 games. I'd want a fresh start after that.

So Chelsea get fined 10m for illegal payments to players & agents & springboarding themselves into a ‘big 6’ outfit. Don’t ever try and tell me the PL isn’t corrupt & bent.
