I shouldn't laugh but somehow I thought that this would be the answer and your missus would, in her head at least, have the moral high ground.
For a further guess, I reckon that the stag do was one of the greatest lads away days ever. And that counts high obviously.
Choose life.

I think the point is that you wouldn’t want a new manager walking into those fixtures. We appoint someone now, he’s already on the back foot. Says to me that we (boardroom) don’t have a great deal of confidence in the squad..
Essentially, they’ve given Farke an impossible task, created by his own metrics. He had 5 games to maintain our PPG to stay up mantra. Now it’s 5 out of 4 games.

Just hope they're better at attracting their key manager targets than they were attracting attackers in the Summer window.
Re: Zebbys Leeds United General discussion
Biggest issue for me is, when you're going so cautious that your striker is completely isolated, you cant be so easy to score against. Yet, we look less solid the more defensive we go. Players are scoring against us completely unmarked despite us having numbers back. Suggests something is seriously wrong tactically.
We never looked comfortable defending set pieces in the Champ under Farke. Perhaps this was always an indication that he's defensively inept generally, and now in the Prem it's fully exposed now we're no longer the dominating team every week.

Current odds:
Marco Rose 13/8
Brendan Rodgers 5/2
Carlos Corberan 4/1
Steven Gerard 8/1
Gary O'Neil 16/1
Hardly gets the juices flowing does it.

Gary O’Neil is a Leeds fan apparently

Given the shitshow they presided over for Rangers job recently, don’t hold your breath.Rick wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 1:18 pmYeah very good points.Titman wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 12:12 pmI think the point is that you wouldn’t want a new manager walking into those fixtures. Alternatively, maybe someone already is but didn’t want to jump straight in to the fixtures we’ve mentioned.
Re: Zebbys Leeds United General discussion
Couple of weeks ago a deal was agreed for him to return to Wolves, but he pulled out last minute. Interesting timing.
Certainly has experience of keeping shit sides in this league. Around a 30-32% win record with Bournmouth and Wolves who had pretty crap squads at the time.
