Re: MDT Burnley v Leeds
Burnley style might be effective but it's bloody boring.
Sod watching this every week.

Glad this is out of the way. Happy with a point.

Was dog shit as a spectacle.

Feel sorry for Farke in a way. Anything less than 3pts a game and he’s dogshit & it’s Farke out. Win. It’s muted. If you’d have offered me a point before KO last night I’d have snapped your hand off.
He’ll lose his job eventually (they all do) whether it’s in this league or the one above.
Yes Sid, I know you’re in that camp. The alternatives at the time of his appointment? Scott Parker & Patrick Vieira. The noise against Parker would be even more deafening given what he serves up most weeks - although I do give him credit for that back line he’s put together. But it’s not the misty eyed Bielsa ball type that a section longs for (who is in this division?).
If X was easier to navigate I’d love to have a look at what was being said when we were winless in 7 coming out of January 2020. But I don’t remember it being as vitriolic as it is against Farke. Is it the most exciting football? No. Is it getting results? Well, yes. Will it be enough? Maybe.
17 games to play. 51 points to play for. 35/36 will (more than likely) see us up.

Aye, not the most exciting football but I think we're going up.Titman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 11:59 am Feel sorry for Farke in a way. Burnley and Sheff Utd are nowhere near as good as Leicester last season (and maybe even Ipswich), and we're better than we were last season imo. When we played Leicester at ER I remember watching thinking they are a superior team (even though we beat them twice). I was nervous that night. I wasn't nervous last night. Was just a case of getting through it without doing anything stupid/gifting them something.
It's the Championship so anything can happen. But objectively speaking without bias we are by far the best team. An opinion shared by other team's fan forums too. They're all saying we'll win it.
Re: MDT Burnley v Leeds
I don’t think they will sack him yet, i just find his tactics so utterly negative. I just think total waste of talent which as i’ve said few times may well cost us again. Just glad i don’t pay to watch it.Titman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 11:59 am Feel sorry for Farke in a way. Anything less than 3pts a game and he’s dogshit & it’s Farke out. Win. It’s muted.
